Meet Our Team
Dr. William H. Walls
A native of Hampton, Dr. Walls has practiced dentistry in the state of Virginia for over 30 years. In his first role he served as a public health dentist in the southwestern region of our state. This position would lead him to serve many other communities in Virginia, including Pulaski County, Roanoke, Charlottesville, Newport News and Virginia Beach. In 1997, he opened his private dental practice and put down roots in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Dr. Walls truly enjoys his relationship with his patients. His goal is to help you achieve your optimal dental health. He loves serving families. Many of his patients have been with him from the beginning, so he has had the pleasure of watching families expand and kids grow up while providing for their dental care.
Dr. Walls is a cum laude graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia.
Professional Memberships include: The American Dental Association, The Virginia Dental Association, and the Tidewater Dental Association.
An avid fisherman, Star Wars buff, and sports & travel enthusiast, Dr. Walls keeps busy in his off time with these pursuits.
Office Staff
Front Desk /Admin: Katherine H. – A veteran of Dental Practice Administration, you will be greeted and assisted by Katherine when contacting our office. She has a happy and outgoing personality. She loves interacting with patients of all ages. Katherine maintains the schedule and will set your appointments. She will get you/your family registered into our system, verify of your insurance coverage, benefit eligibility and manage your financial record. Contact her today.
Dental Assistants: A great chair side manner and gentle touch, our dental assistants are valued members of the team. Each assistant will bring a calm and reassuring presence – just the thing you want in a dental experience. Both will assist Dr.Walls chairside in your care.
Jhia T. is highly motivated and detail oriented. She brings experience in patient care, sterilization and inventory management.
Laura M. has spent her career in this role that she adores. She excels at working with patients of all ages – toddlers to seniors!
Dental Hygienists: Our licensed hygienists serve in a very key role in the dental practice. They will keep you up to date on your 6 mos. dental cleaning and maintenance. Additionally, they have the expertise to identify and treat periodontal disease.
Office Manager/Marketing: Michelle MW. – A behind the scenes team member, Michelle is responsible for personnel support, hiring, training and development. She also creates marketing material, posts to social media and handles all advertising and media related inquiries.
